If you are receiving an important client at the Delhi airport, it would be sensible to rent a car in Delhi that would impress him on the first count because corporate car rental nowadays can be done on a specified budget and yet deliver some very special goods that aid corporate branding. There are various corporate vehicle rental agencies in the city that cater mostly to the major Indian and foreign companies and offer great deals if you select the right ones. You can also book a cab as there are many such agencies that will send one to your doorstep in a jiffy as soon as you call.

There are certain points to remember, however, when you opt to rent a car in Delhi or corporate car rental for that matter. The ideal place to get the right information about the best deals and promotions on corporate vehicle rental is the internet. The market is highly competitive and getting the best deal is a lot easier. Hiring through the net also saves effort and time and can be done from the comfort of a home or office. Plus, you get all the comparative rates at one glance but ensure that all the stipulations and fine print are well understood so that you don’t end up paying hidden charges. If you book a cab, does it well ahead, especially during the festive seasons like Diwali and New Years as this will get you the car you want and some good rates also?

It also pays to check the insurance cover when going for corporate car rental or corporate vehicle rental. The renting agency offers an LDW or loss damage waiver as also a CDW or collision damage waiver. The former covers losses that the renting agency may incur while the CDW covers the car rider in case of an accident. Both covers are important, but it may so happen that you already have an insurance policy covering you on this. Hence, paying an unnecessary premium for this additional cover doesn’t make sense. Check with your insurance company what your insurance covers. When you rent a car in Delhi, don’t pay in advance for the gas as you could end up paying more for a tank full of gas where actually you’ve toured less and used less as a result. If, however, you are certain of using up a tank full of gas, pay at the end of the day or period’s use and not before.

When you book a cab, also ensure that the car is returned on time. Otherwise, heavy late fees may be charged. Most rental agencies will allow a grace period of maybe thirty minutes or so, but afterwards the late fee becomes operational. This needs to be checked out before renting. Additionally, the car has to be returned in good condition or else charges for the same may apply. Again, the fine print needs to be read and understood properly. In sum, make sure that you get the best value for your money.
